Overview

We do our best to secure the privacy of all our members' data and personal information. This page outlines how we do this. 

Collection, use and disclosure of personal information

The site is hosted by 'wild apricot' a third party who host our site content and membership data. Only limited individuals who are members of the CEEC committee have access to this information. Wild Apricot Inc secure the data we hold and its transmission, in accordance with their policies and procedures here: https://www.wildapricot.com/wild-apricot-security. Neither Construction Excellence Essex Club or  any other club or the national organisation take any responsibility for the reliability of Wild Apricot. 

We generally collect the minimum information needed to process memberships and communicate with members. Any payment data is passed through the PayPal system which operates its own security - you should ensure that your data is secure with PayPal. We will never share any data with any third parties without your consent.  

At events, you may find there is a delegate list which is issued to attendees only. This will only include names, job titles and company names. If you do not wish to appear on this list, please contact one of the committee. 

Giving consent for others

If you are registering bundle members, you should ensure you have their permission or you have the authority to add their information to the website before doing so.

Our Relationship With Constructing Excellence / BRE

CEEC is a members club registered with but not directly connected to the national organisation. We work within the parameters set down by the national organisation under a memorandum of understanding - more details can be found here: https://constructingexcellence.org.uk/regions/
